  • How do I order online?
    Ordering online is easy, just follow these steps. 1. Visit the product page, e.g. cookies & bars, breads & pastries, savouries and cakes. 2. Browse the products paying attention to the quanities listed. For example cookies and cupcakes may come as in sets of 12. Choose your quanity. 3. Customise where possible. Choose from our list of flavours, frostings, fillings and more. 4. Add items to your cart and click checkout when you are happy with your cart. 5. Add your details when prompted so that we can contact you to confirm your order 6. Await your order confirmation email and arrange a delivery date and time. 7. Payment is to be made with cash or cheque on delivery. A 50% deposit is required on all orders over $200 BDS. 8. Delivery fee of $20 BDS for all orders
  • How long in advance do I need to order?
    Our pre-order schedule is first-come-first-serve and can fill up at any time, so the more notice you give the more likely it will be that we have availability. We do require a minimum of 1 week notice on all orders. Please await your confirmation message to be sure that your order has gone through.
  • How do I make my payment?
    We accept cash or cheques on delivery. Cheques may be written to Madeline Layne.
  • Do I need to make a deposit?
    We require a 50% deposit on all orders over $200 BDS to be made a week before delivery.
  • Do you deliver? Is there a charge?
    Yes. We have a $20 BDS delivery fee on all orders.
  • How many people does each cake serve?
    Please use our guide below. Please note that these are estimates. ROUND CAKES 6" (serves 8-10) 8" (serves 15-20) 10" (serves 25-30) SHEET/SQUARE 8 inch square (serves 20) Quarter (serves 24) Half (serves 48)
  • Are decorations included in cake prices?
    In most cases, yes. Many buttercream designs are included in our base cake pricing. Some more elaborate designs require an additional design fee. Custom cakes need to be quoted on a case by case basis.
  • Do you have Gluten-Free products?
    Yes. Most of our items can be made gluten-free.
  • Can I modify or cancel an order?
    Orders can generally be modified or canceled with at least one week's notice. If order is canceled less then 48 hours before deliver there is a 50% cancelation fee. Wedding cakes require at least 3 weeks' notice. All modifications/cancellations must be done in writing via email or WhatsApp.
  • How do I take care of my cake once I receive it?
    We don't use preservatives in any of our goods. We recommend keeping cakes refrigerated in their bakery box or an air-tight container - for up to three days - until thirty minutes to an hour before serving. Any left-overs should also be refrigerated in either an air-tight container or bakery box wrapped in cling film. Condensation may form on a cake during refrigeration, depending on temperature and humidity; this is normal, will not adversely affect the cake, and will generally subside when left at room temperature for about thirty minutes to an hour.
